ROY CONN
(b. 1931)

Biography
Painter, born in London. Trained as a structural engineer and was mainly self-taught as a painter. In 1958 he moved to St. Ives, Cornwall, and became a member of the Penwith Society.

He has had solo shows at Rowan Gallery (1966), Arnolfini Gallery, Bristol (1969), and was included in The Belgrave gallery's 'British Abstract Art in the 1950's and 1960's' in 1992.

Victoria & Albert Museum, London; Contemporary Art Society, London; and Arts Council of Northern Ireland hold hsi work.
